FEEDBACK FROM THE FRONTLINE

  • "The learning experience with Dynamic Simulation was exceptional. (The team) presented well thought out and executed HALO (high acuity, low occurrence) practice scenarios that allowed our team time to collaborate and debrief after each case. The session allowed for valuable feedback from team members throughout the experience and assisted with many quality improvement initiatives in the following weeks. Campbellford Memorial Hospital is looking forward to collaborating with Dynamic Simulation regularly in the future to continue to enhance team skills and dynamics with the ultimate goal of bringing better care to our community."

    Jackie Forget, RN
Professional Practice Lead, Campbellford Memorial Hospital

  • "The Dynamic Simulation day allowed our multidisciplinary team (MD's, a PA, an RT, and RN's) to bring our different skills and knowledge to collectively manage complex scenarios. As a rural site, certain cases happen more rarely, but we nevertheless encounter them and Dynamic Simulation’s program was a great way to keep us up to date on best practices and to be prepared for them. Finally, by being run in our hospital, it also got everyone used to where to look for certain supplies (which has led to multiple changes in terms of what we stock and where). "

    Dr. David Li
Emergency Department Chief, Campbellford Memorial Hospital

  • "Thank you so much for providing this educational opportunity for staff. The take away points learned at each SIM are invaluable to our physicians, respiratory therapy, and nursing staff. This education has provided the opportunity to practice interdisciplinary teamwork throughout the hospital. We are able to identify areas to improve and build on in order to provide competent and safe care for our patients in the future."

    Anika Doddy, RN,
Emergency Department Manager, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance

  • "Working with the team from Dynamic Simulation was superb! They were very organized and considered all aspects of our learning needs as the preparation unfolded. We had the pleasure of having the simulation days in our brand-new unoccupied ED and Dynamic Simulation easily incorporated this into the experience as we figured out where our critical equipment should be placed and how staff could become comfortable in the new environment. All those who attended had an excellent first-time simulation experience with the MRHA. The staff are excited to host Dynamic Simulation again this year! The simulation exercises definitely instilled confidence in all participants with managing complex patient situations, especially the less common ones! Everyone loved the cooperative and relaxed atmosphere that enhanced their learning experience."
